MP: 70 take ill due to food poisoning

Bhind(MP), May 8: About 70 people, who attended a marriage in Uttar Pradesh, were taken ill due to food poisoning.

Police said about 70 residents of Hamirapur village of this district had returned after participating in a marriage at Jamunapura village in Jalaun village of Uttar Pradesh. They had shown symptoms of food poisoning after partaking food at the residence of Nathuram Tiwari on Sunday night.

The affected villagers were given first aid at the primary health centre at Ron while ten people were referred to the district hospital here.
