50 units sealed by MCD in seven zones

New Delhi, May 8 (UNI) Continuing its drive to seal commercial units operating in violation of the 2021 Delhi Master Plan, the Muncipal Corporation of Delhi today put to seal 50 units in seven zones of the city.

Among the areas where the properties were sealed are DDA Park Road in Najafgarh zone, Lajpatnagar II in Central zone and Sector 3 and Rithala in Rohini, an MCD spokesperson said.

Fourteen units were sealed in A-Block Shakarpur of Shahdara (South) zone, five were sealed in Janakpuri, Vikaspuri and Rajouri Garden areas of West zone and three in Dakshinpuri area of South zone, the spokesperson said.

No misuse was detected in Shahdara(North) zone today.

With today's sealing the total number of units put to seal by the MCD since the drive began on March 28 is 1413.
