2 killed, 15 injured in road mishap

Rohtak, May 8 (UNI) Two women were killed and 15 passengers were injured in a road accident on the national highway no 10 near Kharawar village in Rohtak district today.

The mishap occured when a jeep carrying 15 people and a four-wheeler light transport vehicle collided head-on on the national highway in the afternoon.

Two women travelling in the jeep reportedly died on the spot, while 13 other passengers in the jeep, including its driver, and the driver and cleaner of the other vehicle were injured.

The deceased were yet to be identified. The injured were rushed to the PGIMS for treatment.
