2 die of heat-stroke

Mahoba, May 8 (UNI) At least two people have been reported dead today due to heat-stroke caused by heat wave in Devideen and Sora villages here.

One of the deceased was identified as Halkai, police said.

The rising temperature has made life tough for people in the area and the roads wear deserted look throughout the day, although the marriage season is on.

Shortage of clean drinking water is posing another problem for the people. At Mamna village of Kotwali area, 6 children fell sick after drinking contaminated water.
