16 injured in road accident

Jammu, May 8 (UNI) At least 16 people were injured when a small vehicle in which they were travelling fell into a gorge at Ritti, around seven kilometer from Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir this morning, official sources said.

Udhampur police said the travellers were coming to Udhampur from Bhata by a metador, which skidded and fell into a gorge at Ritti.

All the injured were admitted in Udhampur district hospital, it added.
