Work on Machilipatnam port to begin soon: Minister

Hyderabad, May 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Infrastructure, Investment and Ports Minister M Venkataramana Rao today said work on the Machilipatnam port would begin soon.

The Minister, who assumed charge in his 'D' block office at the Secretariat here, said he would concentrate in the key areas of infrastructure development and ports.

The Minister signed a file pertaining to a township coming up at the Srinagar area in Ranga Reddy district.
