TN CM not to focus on survey reflecting ministers performance

Chennai, May 7 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi today refused to attach any significance to the survey on the performance of Union Ministers published in a Tamil daily.

Stating that he never had any belief in such surveys, Mr Karunainidhi told newspersons here that the survey results were not on proper lines and need not be taken seriously.

''I have to agree with regret that the survey has created a misunderstanding among DMK and its alliance parties,'' he said and exhorted partymen not to air their views, based on the survey reports, affecting friendship among the allies.

The survey has rated Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran as the best performer followed by others from Tamil Nadu.
