Six houses, SSP's car gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 7 (UNI) Six houses and a car of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Srinagar were gutted in different incidents of fire across the Kashmir valley since last evening, police said today.
A fire broke out in the house of one Mohammad Ashraf Najar at Abubakar Colony Bemina late last night. The blaze soon engulfed four more houses.
However, no casualties were reported in the incident, police said, adding the cause of the fire was being ascertained.
Due to a short circuit, a fire broke out in a garage located outside the SSP Srinagar in which an ambassador car was gutted.
Fire broke out at Y K Pora village in which a house was partially damaged.
