Rich tributes paid to Hardicker

Puducherry, May 7 (UNI) Rich tributes were paid to Mahatma Gandhi's disciple and All India Seva Dal Founder M S Hardicker on his 119th birth anniversary here today.

At a function organsied by Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), PCC President P Shanmugham paid floral tributes to the portrait of Hardicker.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his cabinet colleagues, PCC office bearers and Seva Dal functionaries were among others who participated in the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shanmugham exhorted the Congress volunteers to function unitedly to strengthen the party.

Any problems cropping up should be resolved through mutal discussions instead of nurturing groupism, he added.
