PNB extends 'Maha Bachat Scheme' till May 31

Kozhikode, May 7: Public sector banking major, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has extended its 'PNB Maha Bachat Scheme'' till May 31.

Under the scheme, the rate of interest increased to 9.5 per cent for the period of one year, 9.25 per cent for the period of two years and 9 per cent for three years, PNB General Manager S P Singh said in a release here today.

The scheme also offered an additional 0.25 per cent for senior citizens, the release added.
