One dies of suspected cholera

Hubli, May 7 (UNI) One person died of suspected cholera in Kundgol taluk of Dharwad district today.

Official sources, however, said Maktumsab Peerkhanavar had died of gastro enteritis this morning.

Consumption of contaminated water was said to be the reason for the death.

Health Department officials had taken up necessary measures, sources added.
