New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) Jammu&Kashmir Bank Ltd today posted a 98.68 per cent jump in the net profit at Rs 45.28 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 22.79 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

Total income also registered a growth of 16.48 per cent to Rs 575.02 crore during Q4FY07 from Rs 493.65 crore during Q4FY06.

The Bank recorded an increase of 55.22 per cent in its net profit for the year ended March 31, 2007 at Rs 274.49 crore as against Rs 176.83 crore during the last fiscal.

Total income during the year increased to Rs 2059.54 crore from Rs 1817.10 crore during FY06, rising by 13.34 per cent.

The bank has also recommended, inter alia, a 115 per cent dividend (i.e. Eleven rupees and fifty paisa per share) to shareholders for the year 2006-07.
