Indus Fila Ltd's total income up by 227 per cent

Mumbai, May 7 (UNI) Textile sourcing company, Indus Fila Ltd has reported 227 per cent increase in its total income at Rs 273.64 crore against Rs 83.67 crore, in the fiscal ended March 31, 2007.

The company has also recommended a dividend of 15 percent, that is, Rs 1.50 per share of Rs 10, subject to shareholder approval.

Basic and diluted Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the same period is up by 64 per cent at Rs 18.68 per share from Rs 11.36 per share.

''The excellent results underscore our confidence in hitting the Rs 410-421 crore mark in revenues in the next financial year, with our target expansion set out in objects of the IPO being implemented,'' said Vice Chairman and MD of the company Nitin Mandhana.

Indus Fila Ltd, a part of Indus Mandhana Enterprise, Bangalore, is a multi-product textile and apparel enterprise. It has close rapport with a number of international brands such as Mexx, Armani, Levis, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Phillip Van Heusen and Wal-Mart. The company recently acquired a textile unit in Mysore, Nanjangud, set up to cater to the apparel industry, at a gross cost of Rs 110 Crore.
