Haryana Police bust notorious gang of Bawaria robbers

Chandigarh, May 7 (UNI) The Haryana Police busted a gang of Rajasthani tribal robbers at Panipat during a special campaign launched in the state.

The police nabbed a Rajasthan-based Bawaria gang headed by Most Wanted Bansi and his other four accomplices while they were planning to effect robbery at some places in Panipat district, he said.

Police recovered two 315 bore country made pistols, one iron rod, a jeep, gold ornaments worth thousands of rupees and a handsome amount of cash from them, a spokesman of the Haryana Police Department said here today.

He said that during the investigations, the gang members had confessed 11 cases of loot at various places in Panipat and other districts of the state.
