DS group sets up food production unit at Guwahati

New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) To tap the north east market, Dharmapal Satyapal (DS) group, a Rs 1,200 crore corporate conglomerate today opened its first food production unit at Guwahati under its flagship brand 'Catch'.

The new unit is scheduled to be operational by July 2007. The manufacturing unit will commence with the production of 'Catch' jaljeera and gradually expand to other products in the Catch food and beverage portfolio.

Catch range of food and vegetables includes bottled spring water, table top salt and peper, spices and club soda.

DS group's executive director P K Gupta said the group is working towards its expansion and the new unit is a step forward in the same direction.
