Guj: Brother and sister electrocuted

Rajkot, May 7: A young brother and sister were electrocuted and two other family members suffered burns when their bullock cart in came in to contact with high-voltage live wire at Kotadi village in Rajula taluka of Amreli district, yesterday.

The occupants of the bullock cart were on their way to farm house when the incident took place.

Two bullocks also charred to death in the mishap, report reaching here said today.

A bullock cart came in to contact with a live wire of 11kv which fell on it, leading to the accident.

The deceased were identified as Lalji Devayat (20) and his sister Nayna (18).Injured were shifted to Rajula hospital, report said.

The villagers have immediately informed to the officials of the power supply who snapped the power supply to avoid further casualties, the report said.
