Another pastor threatened in Jaipur

Jaipur, May 7 (UNI) Close on the heels of an attack on a Christian preacher here, another pastor, residing in a slum area, has claimed that he had been receiving threats from some ''unknown people'' to leave the locality.

Than Singh left in panic his rented residence in Palri Meena Kacchi basti, about 10 km from the state capital, yesterday following the threats.

He claimed that two masked youths on a motorbike came to his house in the morning when he was about to start his prayers and asked him to leave the house.

The frightened pastor, fearing assault, thought they might return to harm him physically and left the house in a hurry.

Later, his wife and children also joined him to take up residence in an office of social organisation here in Gandhi Nagar.

Meanwhile, police have filed a FIR in the case and were looking into the matter.
