Advocate among 6 persons arrested for gambling

Rajkot, May 7 (UNI) The police have arrested six persons, including an Advocate, on the charge of gambling and recovered Rs 26,480 from them at Halvad town in Surendranagar district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police party raided the Advocate's residence in Kharvad area of the town last night and arrested him along with five others. The police also recovered Rs 26,480 cash, playing cards and mobile phones from the spot, police said.
