65 people cross Chakan-Da-Bagh point on LoC

Jammu, May 7 (UNI) At least 65 people from Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) today crossed over to either sides of this divided state via Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point at Poonch, official sources said.

Taking due benefit of the opened Poonch-Rawalakote (PoK) crossing, seven people, including four women from Jammu and Kashmir crossed over to the other side while 57 people, including 16 women came to this side from the Line-of-Control (LoC) crossing, sources said.

One person also returned back after visiting his relatives in the PoK.

More than 1800 people of both sides have reportedly used the trans-border crossing points in Poonch district, which were opened up as a part of Indo-Pak confidence building measures.
