4 killed in UP road mishap

Sultanpur, May 7 (UNI) At least four peoples were killed and two others seriously injured in a head on collision between a bus and tractor-trolley here.

Police said the mishap took place late last night on the Musafirkhana-Gauriganj highway in Jaamo area, when the bus on the way to Madhavpur Pahad village, rammed into the tractor-trolley, injuring six passengers.

The injured were admitted to hospital, where four severely wounded succumbed this morning, police said.

The deceased were identified as Bheem, Bablu, Ram Ketarand and Kewal. They were on their way to a marriage ceremony in Madhavpur Pahad village.
