Rashid makes stunning revealtion against TRS, BSP, TDP leaders

Hyderabad, May 4 (UNI) Md Rashid, kingpin in the International human trafficking racket involving many politicians, including MPs and MLAs, today revealed that he had helped former Union Minister of State for Rural Development and senior TRS leader A Narendra as also Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Mohammed Tahir Khan (Sultanpur) send people abroad with fake passports.

Rashid, who was held under IPC sections 419, 420, 468, 471 and under Section 1(1b) of the Indian Passport Act yesterday and remanded in judicial custody till May 18 today, claimed during interrogation that he was introduced in 2002 to Mr Narendra, who was then in the BJP by one Yusuf Khan and he had helped the leader send five people to the US.

He claimed that he had offered Mohammed Tahir Khan Rs 22 lakh for sending three Gujaratis to the USA in May 2006, police sources said.

After becoming a Minister in the UPA Government, Mr Narendra had allegedly gave the passport of his colleague in Parliament Ravindra Naik for Rs 20 lakh for sending one Bhilal to Japan. However, the latter could not get a visa, Rasheed claimed during interrogation, the sources said.

They said one Ajit Reddy stated to be the Personal Assistant of TRS Chief K Chandrasekara Rao had introduced Rashid to TRS MP Madhusudhan Reddy and offered Rs 20 lakh to send people abroad with his passport. As only Rs 2,00,000 paid as advance, but the MP did not accept the offer, Mr Rashid told the interrogators.
