Guv okays sacking of state Mineral evelopment Corporation president

Ranchi, May 4 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibtey Razi today gave assent to the government's proposal to sack state Mineral Development Corporation president Deepak Prakash on a condition that the decision be passed in the Cabinet with retrospective effect.

The government gave recommendation to give three months of salary to Mr Prakash as per provision and took opinion from the Advocate General in this regard.

As per provision president and vice-president of such bodies could be sacked giving three months of salary.

The Governor after perusing all clauses gave the approval, Raj Bhavan sources said.
