Depression lies 350 KM north of Port Blair

Vijayawada, May 4 (UNI) The depression which formed over the East Central Bay of Bengal last evening lay centered at about 350 km north of Port Blair this afternoon.

It is likely to intensify further and move in the north-north easterly direction and cross the Arakan (Burma) Coast by tomorrow morning, metereological department sources told UNI today.

Distant cautionary signal one was hoisted at all the major ports in Andhra Pradesh, the sources added.
