State Bank of Patiala hikes interest rates on domestic term deposits

Patiala, May 3 (UNI) The State Bank of Patiala has revised interest rates on domestic term deposits with effect from May 1.

According to a statement issued by the Bank, the interest rates have been increased by 0.25 per cent to 1.25 per cent across different maturities.

The new rates have been fixed at 5.25 per cent for a period of 15 to 45 days, 6.25 per cent for 46 to 179 days , 7.50 per cent for 180 days to less than one year and 9.50 per cent for one year to less than three years.

Senior citizens will get higher interest at 10.00 per cent per annum for maturity of one year to less then 3 years.
