New India Co-operative Bank opens corporate office at Prabhadevi

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Expanding its presence in India, the New India Co-operative Bank here today announced the opening of its new corporate office at Prabhadevi, named as ''New India Bhawan''.

Making the announcement, Bank chairman Ranjeet Bhanu said, ''As part of our long-standing commitment to Mumbai, the opening of our new corporate office will enable us to both enhance relations with our current clients as well as with trade and industry in the key market. We are also keen about the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing transformation of the local financial marketplace.'' He said Vice President of India, Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, will formally declare open the new head office of the Bank on May 5, and founder chairman of the Bank and former Union Defence Minister George Fernandes, Maharashtra Cooperation Minister Dr Patangrao Kadam, and Digvijay Singh, MP, will be the guests of honour on the occasion.

The Bank has been serving customers for more than four decades and the new corporate office will meet the increasingly complex needs of the Bank's demand as well as its client base by promoting the variety of products and services, added Mr Bhanu.
