Highway blocked to demand repair of road

Imphal, May 3 (UNI) The National Highway 39 remained blocked today to demand the repair of the highway from Mantripukhri to Koirengei in Imphal.

The members of North Imphal United Clubs and Meira Paibi Organisation (NIUCAMO) called an indefinite road blockade on NH-39 yesterday.

Burnt tyres were littered on the roads while huge boulders blocked the movement of vehicles on the highway.
