Gold and Silver recover on bullish global advices
Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Both the precious metals today recovered on bullish global advices with Silver up Rs 45 per kg and Gold by Rs 30 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange.
Silver fineness .999 opened low at Rs 18,835 per kg on poor demand. Later, it recovered and closed at Rs 18,920 with a gain of Rs 45 from yesterday's close of Rs 18,875.
In London, Silver rose to USD 13.25/13.32 per troy ounce against USD 13.20/13.27 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened higher at Rs 9,030 and Rs 9,080 per ten gm on better buying support.
Later, the yellow metal improved slightly and closed at Rs 9,055 and Rs 9,100 per ten gm with gain of Rs 35 for standard Gold and Rs 30 for pure Gold from their last close.
In London, Gold edged up to USD 674.00/676.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 667.00/670.00 per troy ounce in New York on Wednesday.
