Fake viagra pills worth Rs 2.33 lakh seized in Nagpur
Nagpur, May 3 (UNI) Fake Viagra pills worth Rs 2.33 lakh have been seized from two persons arrested in this connection here, police today said.
Acting on a complaint from an officer of Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights Limited (EIPR), a Mumbai-based vigilance company, the police arrested Mohan Hedaoo while trying to sell fake viagra on Monday.
The police seized 13 strips of four pills each and a bottle of pills of 100 mg each of the fake medication from him.
On the basis of the information received from arrested Hedaoo, a raid was carried out at a drug shop, and 49 strips of four pills each, 14 bottles of pills of 50 mg each and a bottle of pills of 100 mg each were seized, the release said.
The police have arrested owner of the drug shop, Suraj Dewani, also.
