Deutsche Bank raises interest rates on FDs
New Delhi, May 3 (UNI) Deutsche Bank has raised the interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) for its retail customers from 50 to 165 basis points with immediate effect.
For deposits of 181-270 days, the interest rate has been increased to 8.75 per cent from 7.10 per cent while on deposits of upto 100 days, the revised interest rate is 8.25 per cent, the bank said in a statement.
Other tenors on which the bank has increased interest rates include deposits of upto 89 days (8 per cent), 90-99 days (8 per cent) and 101-180 days (8.25 per cent).
''The revised interest rates on our fixed deposits are extremely attractive and comparable with the best rates on offer in the market,'' the bank's Managing Director Ajay Bimbhet said.
