UP: 12 died, 24 injured in sugar mill wall collapse

Lucknow, May 3: At least 12 people were feared killed and over 24 injured when a wall of a newly constructed private sugar mill collapsed this morning in Pilibhit district.

Police sources said the incident occurred at the Bajaj Sugar mill in Maksoodapur area of Pilibhit.

Eight bodies have been recovered from the debris while rescue work was still on.

Police said the wall suddenly caved in and fell on the labourers doing some iron work.
