VSP achieves best-ever sales of Rs 590 cr

Visakhapatnam, May 2: Continuing its success journey, the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) has registered a record sales turnover of Rs 590 crore in April 2007, registering 50 per cent growth over the corresponding period last year.

VSP, in a release here today, said that in its quest to add value to customer requirements, VSP had produced 1.20 lakh tonnes of value-added steel, the best performance for any month since its inception. Incidentally, the bar mills cumulative production touched eight million tonnes during April 2007.
