Ten per cent water cut today and tomorrow in the city
Mumbai, May 2 (UNI) Mumbaikars will get ten per cent water cut today and tomorrow due to urgent repair work of 72'' diameter pipeline of Tansa west main, being undertaken by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), due to heavy leakage in the pipe.
BMC spokesperson Dadasaheb Shivjatak said here today that heavy leakage of the main pipeline was noticed yesterday by the staff at Tarli Village in Bhiwandi in neighbouring Thane district.
The executive engineers of BMC have undertaken repair work of the pipe from this morning on a war footing.
Mr Shivjatak said repair work was expected to be completed by tomorrow evening.
