TDP demands judicial probe into minister's corrupt practices
Hyderabad, May 2 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today demanded that the state government should order a judicial inquiry into the alleged corrupt practices of the State Commercial Taxes Minister K Ramakrishna.
Addressing a press conference here, TDP senior leader and former Minister K Venkat Rao alleged that the Minister had nexus with Vishakhapatnam rural SP Murali, arrested on charges of possessing disproportionate assets and his involvement in land grabbing and extortion from realtors.
Demanding the government order a judicial probe into the minister's alleged links with real estate business in Vishakhapatnam, Mr Rao alleged that the state government had failed to curb corruption in all departments.
