Stone India gross profit up by 44% in 2006-07

Kolkata, May 2 (UNI) Stone India Limited's gross profit was up by 44 per cent at Rs 10.65 crore in 2006-07.

A company release today said it has recorded a turnover of Rs 81.63 crore, an increase of 33 per cent as compared to the corresponding period in the previous year.

It said the order booking increased to Rs 92 crore from Rs 71 crore in the last year. This marks a considerable improvement in the performance of the company, the release added.
