Nitish exhorts people to imbibe ideology of Lord Buddha

Patna, May 2 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar extended his best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Budha Purnima today.

Mr Kumar advised the people to imbibe the teachings of Lord Buddha on love and universal brotherhood. On the eve of Buddha Purnima, the day when Lord Buddha attained salvation, the teachings of Lord Buddha was becoming more relevant in this materialistic life, he added.

''The sufferings of the mankind could be checked by inculcating the philosophy of Lord Buddha,'' he stated.
