Man kills wife, suspecting her of infidelity

Mumbai, May 2 (UNI) A man allegedly attacked and killed his wife suspecting her fidelity and inflicted serious injuries upon his three children at Rohidas Nagar area in Borivali near here today, police said.

Babu Valji Goyal (30) confronted his wife Jaya (28) while she was talking to their neighbour outside their home at Vithal Chawl.

Suspecting an illicit relationship between his wife and the neighbour, he hit Jaya with an iron rod killing her instantly, police said.

Thereafter, he beat his sons Himesh (7), Pragnesh (3) and Jignesh. The three children were rushed to the local Bhagwati Hospital where they are recuperating. Police have arrested Goyal.

UNI
