Two-day public hearing on delimitation of constituencies from May 31
Shillong, May 1 (UNI) The Delimitation Commission would hold a two-day public hearing in connection with its proposal for the delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies in Meghalaya on May 31 and June 1, an official release said here today.
''Members of the public who wish to participate in the hearing, including those who have communicated their representation to the Delimitation Commission are requested to register their names in advance with the Deputy Commissioner of the district concerned on or before May 18. Members of the public are also requested to furnish a recent passport size photo to the Deputy Commissioner for issue of identity card to the applicant,'' the release said.
The hearing would be held at the State Central Library from 1000 hours, the release added.
