Steel Ministry to award Hindi writings on Iron, Steel sector

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) Ministry of Steel has announced a prize scheme to encourage the original book writing in Hindi on Iron and Steel Sector.

Entries complete in all respects are invited for the year 2006-07.

Six copies of manuscripts/books written/published between April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2007 must reach on or before September 30, 2007 to the Ministry of Steel Jt Secretary Ajay Kumar, a statement by the Ministry said.

A committee constituted by the Ministry of Steel will select three prize-winning entries.

The winner of the first prize will receive a cash prize of Rs 20,000 while those for the second and the third prizes will receive Rs 16,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
