Madhuri keen on doing Marathi film if role is good

Kolhapur, May 1 (UNI) Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is keen on acting in a Marathi film if the role is challenging.

Madhuri, who was in the city to attend the 44th State Marathi Films awards presentation function late last evening, expressed this desire while speaking to reporters.

Marathi films are witnessing better days, Madhuri said adding that as a result of good stories and better film production, Marathi films like ''Swas'' are also vying for Oscar now.

This clearly shows that Marathi films of better quality are being produced now, she added.

About her own career, Madhuri said she is presently acting in a film being produced by Yash Chopra. To a question, she said she was yet to decide on whether to continue acting after the completion of this film.
