3 of family killed over land dispute

Lucknow, May 1 (UNI) Three people of a family were shot dead and another was wounded by their relatives allegedly over a land dispute in Doghat area of Baghpat district in Uttar Pradesh.

Police today said Somendra of village Tikri, with the help of his aides, last night shot at his cousins Lokendra (30), Lokesh (28) and Rita (25).

All of them died on the spot, whereas another family member was wounded.

An FIR has been lodged and an investigation is on to nab the assailants.
