Minor killed, 17 hurt as school bus overturns

Varanasi, Apr 28 (UNI) A minor was killed and 17 others, including 15 school children and two teachers, were hurt when a school bus overturned after hitting an electric pole in Badagaon area here today.

The accident occured when a DAV Public School bus with 18 children (aged between 8 and 15 years) and teachers, overturned after hitting an electric pole, police said.

A police patrol, meanwhile, reached the spot and rushed the injured to a private hospital. One of the injured Vishal (12), however, died on way to hospital.

The remaining injured are stated to be out of danger, police added.
