Members of minority sikh community protest in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 28 (UNI) Members of the sikh minority community today took to streets in the civil lines in protest against the alleged kidnapping of a youth, Parmeet Singh, by unidentified persons on April 26.

Alleging police inaction, the members said that Parmeet Singh, son of Late Deedar Singh, resident of Gulshan Nagar Nowgam Bye Pass Srinagar was kidnapped by unidentified persons from a shop at Jehangir Chowk on April 26.

A police spokesman said Parmeet Singh was missing and a report has been lodged in Police Station Shaheed Gunj.

They demanded immediate release of Parmeet Singh.
