TN: IT officials seize Rs 40 lakh unaccounted money

Chennai, Apr 28: Income Tax officials have seized Rs 40 lakh unaccounted money from a real estate business man, who arrived from Delhi at Kamaraj Domestic Airport here last night.

Acting on a tip off, the IT department officials intercepted the business man Sundararaman of K K Nagar in the city and effected the seizure.

However, the officials let him off with the seized amount after seeing the adequate supportive documents, official sources said.
