HP Cabinet sanctions filling of 4,422 posts
Shimla, Apr 28 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet today sanctioned the creation and filling up of 4,422 posts of different categories in various government departments, besides giving relaxation in educational qualifications to 1,267 daily wage workers of different categories, official sources said.
The meeting, which was under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, decided to regularise 4,108 daily wagers in the Irrigation and Public Health (IPH) Department who had completed eight years of service besides filling up 94 posts of Physical Education Teachers in Elementary Education Department through HP Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur.
The sources said the Cabinet also decided to fill 120 posts of Specialist Medical Officers, which includes 45 posts in Anesthesia, 35 in OBG and 40 in Surgery, in Health and Family Welfare Department through Public Service Commission and 22 posts of motivators.
It also decided to fill one post of sales girl in HIMURJA for regularisation of incumbents working in the department, one post of library clerk in HP State Judicial Academy and two vacant posts of house surgeons in the HP Government Dental College.
Sources said it also decided to fill two posts of Junior Technical Assistants from among the eligible attendants in Language, Art and Culture Department, 40 posts of Veterinary Officers in Animal Husbandry Department, one post of clerk in the office of Resident Commissioner at New Delhi besides reviving one post of Block Development Officer (Class-I Gazetted) for Bharmour in Chamba district.
