2 women killed, 6 injured in accident

Chennai, Apr 28 (UNI) Two women were killed and six others, including five women, were injured, when a brickladen mini-lorry ploughed into a crowd at a bus stop in front of Puzhal central prison near here today.

Police said the deceased were Vasanthakumari (40) of Tambaram and Poomani (60) of Puzhal.

The two succumbed to injuries on way to Government Stanley Hospital.

The injured were admitted to the same hospital, police added.
