Bangalore, Apr 27 (UNI) Concerned over poor tourist arrivals from Southern India Jammu and Kashmir will consider special package to the region to attract visitors.
Exhorbitant fares, long distance and fear of terrorist activites appear to be the reasons for the poor arrivals from southern destinations, Mr Javid Amin, Resident Commissioner of J and K Government in Mumbai told newsmen here today. Mr Amin said that tourists need not have any fear about insurgency in the J and K as the situation was normal and conducive for tourists to visit the state.
