IIMA sends admission offers to 239 candidates

Ahmedabad, Apr 27 (UNI) The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad today released the list of canditates selected for this academic year following a nod from the HRD ministry.

IIM-A sources said out of the admission offers for 250 seats (same as that for PGP 2006-08 batch), only 239 offers were being made to candidates belonging to General, SC, ST and PWD categories as there was also a seven per cent shortfall in ST category.

The last date of acceptance of the offer is May 14 this year. The candidates are required to submit their acceptance along with the acceptance fee on or before May 14.

In addition to 239 firm offers, another 52 candidates have been put on the waiting list. The waiting list candidates would be offered admission in case the candidates with firm offers either decline or do not submit their acceptance along with the fee by May 14, sources added.
