Hero Honda launches Honda Unicorn

Bangalore, Apr 27 (UNI) Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, a subsidiary of the Honda Motor Company today launched a new look sporty 150 cc Honda Unicorn.

Speaking after the launch Company Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Shinji Aoyama said that the new sporty Unicorn recently launched nationally has already sold 7.2 lakh units and aggressively planning to grow at 27 per cent in 2007-08 with a sale of nine lakh units.

"We have emerged as the fourth largest two wheeler manufacturer by growing faster than the industry year after year," he added.

In 2006-07 HMSI has developed 100 dealers and branches, thus registering a total of 391 operational outlets, he said adding that in 2007-08 it plans to rapidly expand the network to 693 outlets.
