CM asked officials to ensure no power cut in summer
Hyderabad, Apr 27 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today asked the AP Transco officials to ensure that there was no power cut, trippings or load sheddings in the domestic and industrial sectors.
After a detailed review meeting on the power situation in the state with Power Minister and officials here, the Chief Minister said the government had already released Rs 1,250 crore to purchase power from private sectors and other states.
He said funds would not be a constraint and the government was ready to sanction whatever funds required to purchase power to meet the demands during summer.
The Transco officials assured the Chief Minister that the demands during the coming years would also be met at any cost through additional generation of power and by purchasing from private sector and other states, if need be.
