Body of IIT student handed over to family

Hyderabad, Apr 27 (UNI) The body of a student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, who allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train, was today handed over to his family members at the airport.

The coffin carrying the body of third-year student Jay Bharadwaj, who took the extreme step in Nagpur yesterday, was brought here by flight.

Assistant registrar of IIT Kanpur Satya Murty, who brought the body, handed over the remains to his family members at the Begumpet airport.

UNI
